The Future of Fashion in the Metaverse

When you are a leader and pioneer in a new area of life and business – you get asked to talk about it often! We are excited we had the opportunity to talk to Tracy on the latest Moms on Maternity podcast.

On this easygoing discussion, listen and learn how Tracy Greenan has integrated virtual and phygital jewelry with wearable NFTs and augmented reality filters. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Tracy quickly saw the opportunity for digital fashion.

Tracy collaborated with Jevels, a digital jewelry and accessory platform to create “The Metaverse Starter Set for Style Lovers”, a fun and unique experience for style-loving metaverse rookies with step-by-step instructions on how to claim and use your virtual fashion pieces in the metaverse while enjoying their 'physical twins' to wear anywhere In Real Life.

As you now see, jewelry is being digitized and provided to the customer in both physical and digital forms. You can wear your digital earrings on your next zoom meeting and if you so fancy, change your earrings in the middle of the meeting, without actually touching your ears.

  • 46. Aimee Cruz Interviews Miranda Oh The Author of The Chin Up Out Book Series

    22:15
Join Aimee in getting to know Miranda Oh the author of an amazing book series based on some of her life occurrences. Her book series - Chin Up Tits Out - talks about confidence, self love, and self respect in women. It's the perfect read for anyone looking to learn about the journey women face on a daily basis and what goes on beneath the surface. In this interview they unpack some of the contents of the book and how it came about. As an independent woman in her early twenties, Miranda immigrated with her husband into the country, where he immediately fell ill with Cancer. She had lost everything from her house and car, to her job and dignity. After battling immigration and cancer for years, her husband got up and left their lives one day. In the blink of an eye, She had lost everything that made her; her. During her healing process, she chose to write her first series called Chin Up Tits Out - which follows their main character Hadley. Hadley is a more refined version of her in real life, their stories are very intertwined with each other. Fast forward 8 long years of healing, learning and building up her life from the ground up, she has an entire series out in the world, she moved into a house with her new partner, and had a beautiful baby girl this spring. With her newest source of inspiration, she is writing her next series called Love My Lady Bits, which is based on real stories. For preparation of this new series she embarked on a journey to interview 100 women globally who all live with a chronic condition called Endometriosis. She is taking all these stories, and women and turning them into a 3 part series, in hopes to make "female part issues" less taboo to speak about, less embarrassing, and to help make these scenarios more relatable. Inspiring and empowering women who are going through tough life situations is something that she is most passionate about. She is honored to have the opportunity to share her story. • 44. How To Prepare For Higher Education Expenses For Your Children | Aimee Interviews Patricia Roberts

    23:44
We enjoyed talking to Patricia Roberts, author of Route 529, A Parents Guide to Saving for College and Career Training with 529 Plans. We discuss some of the ins-and-outs of what the 529 account is, how to open one, how the account works, what it can be used for, how to save more money, tax benefits of a 529 account and more! Patricia explains how one can give college savings gift cards as presents for birthdays and other milestones as well as corporate programs that are advantageous for working parents and their families. Patricia's passion stems from her personal story. She had no idea how she would be able to afford college for her son (as she was paying back over $50,000 in her own student loan debt when her son arrived), she began saving for her infant son's future education expenses as soon as she returned to work following her maternity leave. She took a little out of each paycheck, increased contributions over time when she could, and 22 years later, Patricia is proud to say that she just celebrated her son's debt-free graduation from college this past June. We are big fans of her work! You can reach Patricia Roberts at Patricia@GiftOfCollege.com and Aimee Cruz at Aimee@MomsOnMaternity.com
