R Generation on Air (a QPR podcast)

Surprise! R Gen on Air still lives. After scrambling to find the password to Acast, Alex has finally uploaded this podcast. Plenty of things to cover namely 8 QPR games where we; escaped the bottom three, scored the goal of the season and beat Leicester. Which on reflection doesn't appear to be that difficult a task.

After a significant break Alex and Dan return to your podcast feeds. We discuss the sad passing of QPR great Stan Bowles, winning crucially against Rotherham and a short look ahead to what we face against Leicester.

In a sudden shock we realised that the only day we could do this podcast was Monday, so Alex and Dan scrambled onto Zoom post work to discuss all the tings we've missed in our two week absence. There was a win to talk about, that was nice and good. A draw which was not so nice and a new striker who reminds Alex of Jordy Di Wijs. In other news we are deciding to record podcasts every other week, believe it or not we do have other things ongoing in our life at the moment, so this hopefully means better rested podcasters and better quality podcasts with us repeating ourselves less often. Who knows if this crazy idea will work, can R Generation survive on a podcast every other week? Well you'll just have to tune in to find out. Anyway how you all enjoy this podcast, and look past the fact that early doors Dan admits to not remembering what happened in the Millwall game.

QPR lost again and it's extra annoying cause we were decent, until the crucial moments. Dan returns after a while to discuss the new CEO and Dozzell with Alex, before Micah joins halfway through having battled with the Northern Line.

QPR have started 2024 like they finished 2023, and we see that as the perfect time to look back on potentially one of the most damaging years in QPR history. Come for the Leon Balogun criticism, stay for Micah's personal story corner. Alex is joined by the aforementioned Micah, Ben and Steve (@AnalyticsQpr) to remember the pain.

This week, Alex and Micah react to not one but two new manager appointments that are loosely related to QPR. Other than that there is some more actual QPR chat, covering the games against Hull, Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday. Other wildly unimportant tangents are discussed.

Well aren't we all getting treated, QPR won again and this time it was controlled, professional and executed perfectly. We don't want to get carried away but we're going to win the league now. Other things are mentioned too, there's an ex-player mouthing off and saying horrible things, and a kit so heinous and hideous that it could only come from the twisted minds of QPR superstore workers.

Nobody panic but QPR just won a home game! Not the best 90 ever but it's the three points that matter. Alex is joined by Ben to take a deep dive into the first win of the Cifuentes era.
