In this week's episode I speak to Lizzy Shortall author of children's book Joy's Playground and her new novel inspired by her own life The Lotus and the tiger book to to Lizzie and I talked about mindfulness and meditation and the difference between the two. We speak about how you don't have to be an expert to benefit from these types of practises. Lizzy shares her story of finding mindfulness skills later in life and how she feels it would be great for children to be able to learn these tools while they are young.We also talk about how it's great as the kids get older that we can leave the house for a day or two without taking everything but the kitchen sink! Lizzy's new books The Lotus and the Tiger is now available! It sounds amazing! Just like this episode. Not to be missed.

In this week's episode I catch up with Sinead aka MammyMummyMamaWife. It's a late night one so Sinead and I talk all things bedtime and how we wind down after a stressful day. It was so fun catching up with a previous guest and lots of laughs were had about the realities of mum life. A really fun episode not to be missed!
