I Got Scammed Out Of $30k, Astrid | The Miami Minimalist

Season 4

In this bonus episode, Yo Quiero Dinero™ creator and host Jannese Torres sits down with someone who was scammed out of money from the hands of a scammer. Tune in now!

Y'all...if you haven't heard of the Netflix documentary that has the world in an uproar right now, The Tinder Swindler, you have to be living under a rock. WE ARE STILL TRIGGERED AF AFTER WATCHING IT!!!

That movie was ree-DONK-ulous! Don't worry, we won't spoil it for you, but you MUST go watch it. After witnessing what a sh*t-show that was, we had to feature an episode all about the world of frauds and scammers. The black hole of online scamming has been something going on for YEARS...Like yo...MTV made an entire TV show about it!!! #Catfish

Many times, these situations happen in the name of love and romance...and although what Astrid went through wasn't an online love that went awry, we did want to feature her story. Unfortunately, she experienced first-hand being scammed out of money.

We know that this situation is all too common and here at Yo Quiero Dinero™, we're gonna talk about the good, the bad and the ugly!

Astrid, aka The Miami Minimalist shares her story about the time she experienced a "get-rich-quick scheme" that backfired on her. This episode is short, sweet and to the point but definitely one you're NOT going to want to miss out on!
