TOPICS: Segment #1: Oakland Raiders 2019 NFL Draft Preview Raider Greg goes through most of the first round draft prospects who have been mentioned as possible Raiders selections in various mock drafts. He gives his opinions on these players and our need for their positions. We also hear a breakdown of these players by YouTube channels such as Pro Football Focus, and others, comments from Greg Papa on his 95.7 The Game radio show, and other sources. Segment #2: Drama In Alameda Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock reportedly sent their scouts home for the weekend, with orders not to return prior to or for the draft. Apparently they are worried about a leak within their scouting department, or want to avoid any possibility of a leak, to protect the content of their draft board. We hear comments from Raider Greg, Greg Papa, Ian Rapoport, and Colin Cowherd. Segment #3: London Calling The Raiders are playing once again in London this season on October 6th. This is preceded by two away games, and followed by two more away games, which results in five straight games away from Oakland, plus the bye week. Actually TWO medical emergencies. My wife Lisa (this is Randy speaking) had to be hospitalized unexpectedly. She is back home today (Friday) by the way. Then….when I was finally going to finish editing the podcast, I was in the garden watering the plants, and I accidentally watered a wasp nest, and was stung repeatedly on my right eyebrow and upper eyelid. My right eye started swelling about an hour later, causing that eye to start closing. Then it was rapidly spreading to the other eye, causing me to race to the Urgent Care center. A steroid injection slowed the swelling, and has now reversed a lot of it.
