Andrew tells Ben how he set up Dewing Grain and his thoughts on recruiting a top workforce and they discuss the need for diversity within the grain trade by bringing in skills from other sectors, as well as the need to promote the story of British food as we face the prospect of American imports.     Ian and Ben are joined by Jeremy Buxton, a third-generation farmer who came back to manage his family farm after living and working in Paris for 12 years presenting for sports television. Jeremy talks to us about Eves Hill Farm, and the changes he saw when he came back to work in the industry. Jeremy has a passion for regenerative farming and produces high-quality products for the local community. All marketing of UK’s Co-Operative stores will be going through Dewing Grain for next year - great news for farmers! After all the years of trading, there’s going to be a new feed barley crop – a bold, healthy and world-beating variety…The Dewing. The podcast walk location has been announced - the What Three Words are ‘Events-Diner-Rated’, date is still yet to be confirmed. Market Report w/c 1st April, the market has perked up a bit since last week but could spiral depending on the weather as we are due some showers, meaning potatoes and sugarbeet aren’t being lifted just yet.
