Thad Baron, aka Thad Boogie( Big Promo Show/ITCH FM). Took a different career route to the generation of impressionable teenagers who got exposed to the b-boy culture on display in London’s Covent Garden in the 80’s.


From running Hip Hop/Soul-Funk clubs in central London, working in Wyldpytch Rekords, co-producing radio shows. Thad went on to work in A&R and music publishing along the way building solid relationships with the management behind some house hold Hip Hop artists such as Kanye West and J Dilla. Dilla, in his developing years slept a few nights on Thad ’s coach!!


Those times, what made J Dilla a cut above other producers, industry special relationships, shaping the influence on underground UK rap and the records that shaped Thad’s love of Hip Hop culture are recounted in this full length episode.
