The last regular episode of 2024, and for the first time in what feels like forever we have watched everything that each other has. We get festive with now on Amazon Prime release starring the double threat of Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson 'Red One', festive fun continues with Netflix Die Hard inspired thriller 'Carry-On'. We break away from the festive spirit with Disney sequel 'Moana 2', franchise sidequel 'Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim' and we finish with the last installment of the Sony MCU with 'Kraven The Hunter'.

We are back home on Skype, but we are still having beers and still watching movies. Up this week, political satire/end of the world fare 'Rumours', some religious festive drama in 'Mary', more modern thrills in AI gone awry in Netflix scifi thriller 'Subservience' and we finish with a possible Oscar winning turn from Amy Adams in the hard to pigeon hole 'Nightbitch'

We are back in our spiritual home of The Raven on Renfield Street in Glasgow. We are excited so we are talking quicker than usual, this week we look over some Catholic Dogma in 'Conclave', new festive flick 'Dear Santa' on Paramount, and we finish with the *rumoured* last film in the directing career of Clint Eastwood in 'Juror #2'

Our Manx friend returns to the pod this week as one of us is jollying it up in Eastern Europe We cast an eye over war drama on Apple+ from Steve McQueen 'Blitz', biopic of sorts of a forgotten heroine 'Joy', the newest adaptation of an August Wilson play from the Washington family with Netflixs 'The Piano Lesson' and we finish with an examination of a toxic marriage in 'Magpie' with Daisy Ridley.

We have both been working a lot and letting life get in the way of our true calling of watching obscene amounts of movies. We finally get around to seeing a cinematic legends magnum opus in 'Megalopolis', we delve into a sequel that noone was really asking for but is here anyway 'Gladiator II', horror prequel 'The Last Voyage Of The Demeter' and the crime thriller/musical 'Emelia Perez'

This week its a battle for the ages as we see the making of a modern monster with 'The Apprentice' vs the worlds nicest bear in 'Paddington In Peru' and we also throw pod favourite Aubrey Plaza's newest flick 'My Old Ass'

Our foreign correspondent returns to make two into three for episode #373We talk all about Netflix time travel serial killer teen romp 'Time Cut, thought provoking drama 'A Different Man', Hugh Grant led religious horror/thriller 'Heretic' and we finish with a bunch of documentaries with 'Music By John Williams' on Disney+ and still in cinemas 'Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story'

A range of flicks this week, starting with third part of Tom Hardy as the symbiote in 'Venom: The Last Dance', Sam Raimi produced horror 'Don't Move', thriller/horror from A24 with 'The Front Room' and we finish with the uplifting and emotional documentary 'The Remarkable Life Of Ibelin'

It is a busy episode this week with us watching pretty much all the new stuff the that the streaming services have to offer. We start with Sky Cinema release, taking a new slant on the vampire myth with 'The Radleys', then its onto Netflix to cast eyes over Anna Kendrick debut flick as director, true life horror 'Woman Of The Hour'. We get to the cinema to watch sequel to horror juggernaut from a few years ago 'Smile 2', and we finish with more streaming offerings with romantic drama 'Lonely Planet', sequel to surprise Spanish hit 'The Platform 2' and we finish with Prime Video offering comedy crime caper 'Brothers'
