  • 7. Jet Li in "Fist of Legend"

    01:10:44||Season 3, Ep. 7
    Before American audiences were introduced to him in Lethal Weapon 4, Jet Li was already a star in his home country and we are so grateful for that. This week we're watching 1994's Fist of Legend starring the man himself. What makes Jet Li such an incredible performer? Stephen and Travis dig into it and delight in the incredible choreography and acrobatics exhibiting in this film. This movie is the first in our list to really garner some major emotional responses and hits some intense beats. • 6. Michael Jai White in "Undisputed II - Last Man Standing"

    01:21:10||Season 3, Ep. 6
    You knew that we couldn't get through this series without diving into the Direct-to-Video market! Well, we made it there with this sequel to a movie you probably also never watched, Undisputed II: Last Man Standing. This film finds our hero played by Michael Jai White facing off against our bonus fighter Scott Adkins in a Russian gulag for ... reasons. Just relax, the fight scenes are incredible in this mid-budget sequel. Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins deliver amazing performances in the ring and kind of great performances outside it. Just crank up your late 90s nu-metal and enjoy the flick!Where do these guys rank on Bruce Lee Scale? In Soviet Russia, the scale ranks you!
  • 5. Cynthia Rothrock in "Yes Madam"

    59:49||Season 3, Ep. 5
    If you thought this show was going to just be a couple dudes talking about a bunch of dudes, well you were wrong! We brought in not one, but TWO of the greatest female martial artists on both film and in actual competition. Cynthia Rothrock is our highlight with this movie, but you get a bonus Michelle Yeoh in the mix. Cynthia is one of the inventors of the Scorpion kick which might just be one of the coolest moves that exists, and she's quite the accomplished real world fighter in her own right. She comes into this movie about halfway through and easily makes her mark as one of the most badass women of 80s action movies. Where does she rank on our Bruce Lee Scale? Tune in and find out!
  • 4. Jason Statham in "The Transporter"

    01:13:38||Season 3, Ep. 4
    This week on the show, we leave the shores of mainland China behind and officially bring in our first Brit to the ranks of famous martial artists! You may not consider Jason Statham one of the pantheons, especially due to his more recent work, but his hand to hand combat stunt work in the early days of his career was certainly something to marvel at. He's quite the accomplished martial artists in his own right, not to mention a fantastic diver. Statham shows up on the scene in The Transporter to cause a lot of chaos and generally be a pain in the rear to a set of gangsters. He also gets to drive fast cars while he does it.Jason Statham is on the Bruce Lee Scale, and you might be surprised where he lands for each of us.
  • 3. Donnie Yen in "Kill Zone"

    55:49||Season 3, Ep. 3
    This week, Donnie Yen hits the mean streets of a non-descript crime town to try to clean up the mess being made by a crime boss. There are a lot of knives, a lot of blood, and some of the most agile fighting we've seen so far on this show. If you like lightening fast fights, this is the movie for you. We also found ourselves lamenting the fact that even though Donnie Yen is our age, we assume he is able to get off a couch without a ton of effort. Seriously, the guy is ridiculous. Where does he rank on our Bruce Lee Scale? Find out on this episode of 24 FPS Presents...
  • 2. Stephen Chow in "Kung Fu Hustle"

    This week on the show, Stephen and Travis take a look at maybe one of the best Kung Fu comedies ever made, Kung Fu Hustle. Released in 2004, this movie featured some of the most bonkers animation and CGI, but has a backbone of an amazing story and an even more amazing martial artist. Where did Stephen Chow rank on our Bruce Lee Scale, tune in and find out!
