In 1986, John Wagner, Alan Grant, and Cam Kennedy created one of the most prescient characters the pages of 2000 AD have ever seen — Kenny Who?, the would-be artist who found that the world of Mega-City One comics isn't quite what he'd hoped. What was a satire about comics publishing in the 1980s now reads as a searing indictment of the way that A.I. poses a threat to not just comics but the whole of the creative arts.
